John Calipari has coached a ton of great guards in his time. He coached the likes of Derrick Rose (at Memphis), Eric Bledsoe, John Wall, Archie Goodwin, Brandon Knight, Tyreke Evans and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. So it might come as a surprise that Calipari didn't name any one of those guys as the best floor general he's ever coached.
He went on a full Twitter rant to not only congratulate his point guard, but to defend against the haters out there as well.

On the offensive end, not only was Tyler efficient, he accounted for 17.3 points and 7.0 assists per game.

Ulis helped the Wildcats take the regular season and SEC Tournament crown this season. He is slotted as a mid-to-late first round pick by most experts and really improved his stock with his strong season-long performance.
