ESPN has fired veteran NBA analyst Chad Ford after 16 years with the company.

Ford was the company's top NBA Draft insider, and he was known for his mock drafts and analysis of future NBA prospects.
Ford covered the recent NBA Draft, and he even previewed the 2018 draft class in his last days with the company.
His former coworker, Bill Simmons, said ESPN did Ford no favors by making his content exclusive to ESPN Insider subscribers.
Another https://t.co/A0EAxZ9l7u Hall of Famer. They screwed Chad by burying him behind Insider all those years. Deserved a bigger audience. https://t.co/Sl9dhYVDLS

Ford joins the long list of ESPN employees who have been let go in recent months. Ford and NBA reporter Marc Stein finished up at the company just hours before Adrian Wojnarowski made his return to the company.
