Week 1 is just winding down, but CBS Sports has already decided it's time to make a prediction for who will end up in the College Football Playoff. After Florida State's loss to Alabama, they've got a different representative from the ACC who is quite familiar with the Crimson Tide.
Jerry Palm of CBS Sports has Alabama and Clemson meeting each other for a third time in three years in the CFP, but he believes they will meet in the semifinal with USC and Ohio State meeting in the semifinal. He didn't make a prediction for who would win each game though so the title game is blank for now.
Should Clemson take advantage of Florida State's injury situation with Deondre Francois and run the table in the conference, there's a chance they could be better than the No. 4 seed like Palm has them as of now. And that could mean a three-peat for title game matchups.
