In the above interview with SLAM Magazine, rising superstar Anthony Davis talked about everything 2016 Olympics. He hasn't made the roster for sure, but having made it on the team in 2012 and now with his potential MVP status on the rise, it seems inevitable he will make the team.

Chris Palmer from the magazine asked Davis if he would rather win an MVP award or win a gold medal by the end of next year and he went with the latter.  "I'd say gold medal. Only because it comes every four years, and you're not knowing if you're going to play again," Davis said. "You can get a chance to win the MVP every year, and I experienced it the first time, and it was, nothing like it."

Davis might prefer a gold medal, but he may get his MVP award first if he continues to improve his game like he did last season by setting career highs in points, rebounds, blocks and assists, averaging 24.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.9 blocks and 2.2 assists per game.
