Alabama has made a huge hire for its next offensive coordinator with Brian Daboll of the New England Patriots. However, it still needs to fill out some of the staff with one crucial position left in special teams coordinator and tight ends coach. It looks like Nick Saban and the school has found a familiar face to fill the slot though according to AL.com.

Joe Pannunzio will reportedly join the staff in that position after serving as Director of Personnel Operations for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was in that position since 2014 when he left Alabama as the Crimson Tide's Director, a position he had held since 2011. Alabama has needed a new tight ends coach since Mario Cristobal left for Oreegon and Pannunzio has plenty of experience to take his place.

As a college assistant, Pannunzio has coached tight ends and special teams at several stops, including TCU, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Auburn and Miami. He also served as the head coach of Murray State from 2000-05.
