LSU and Florida will cancel its respective contests against South Alabama and Presbyterian in order to make the contest happen.
If Florida is able to beat LSU and remain unbeaten the rest of the way during in-conference play, and Tennessee loses to Alabama on Saturday, the Gators would represent the SEC East in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.
