It's not often you see bench clearing brawls in football and especially in college football. Coaches usually have better control of their players and they don't want to be assessed the penalty for sideline interference. However, neither Old Dominion nor Western Kentucky were interested in any of that as they cleared the benches for this all-out brawl.
After WKU running back Anthony Wales got a first down on a 12-yard run and was pushed out of bounds. Apparently, that was enough for ODU players as they shoved him back inbounds and never stopped. That led to more ODU players getting out on the field and then eventually WKU players came to Wales' aid and that's how we got to this mess:

Here's another angle so you can see just how big the brawl was and see that benches really did clear:

As if no one would have guessed, there were quite a few flags thrown on the whole thing.
“There were multiple fouls for unsportsmanlike conduct.”

ODU safety Jamshyer McUmber was ejected from the game among all the chaos and despite field officials not being able to identify everyone who was assessed a personal foul penalty. The Hilltoppers ended up winning 59-24 and moving to 5-3 on the season.
