WWE poked fun at one of their biggest controversies on SmackDown Live

To help hype up their next tag team title match at the upcoming Battleground pay-per-view, WWE set up a rap battle between the Usos and The New Day so the two sides could get their verbal barbs in at each other.

We're not sure if this is what they anticipated.

During the segment, the Usos dropped what will go down as one of the best lines from WWE this year, as they referenced the leak of Xavier Woods' involvement in a sex tape earlier this year with this line: "Hey Big E, let's just keep it PG. You know what's good, just don't get all rated-R like your boy Xavier Woods."

WELL THEN.

The part that really makes this a compelling piece of television, though? The reaction from the crowd seems to indicate that everyone knew exactly what the Usos were talking about when they dropped that line.

And the best part? Rapper Wale — who moderated the battle — said on Reddit that the New Day and Usos did not share their lines prior to going on live TV, so it seems like it is very possible that Woods and the New Day did not know that was coming.

However, and probably to little surprise, WWE did not include this line in the package for the segment on their YouTube channel.
