Leave it to the internet to completely overreact when it comes to athletes tweets. That's exactly what happened when Carmelo Anthony tweeted this at LeBron James:
Surround yourself with people that make you smile #Brotherhood @KingJames #StayMe7o pic.twitter.com/35auJveHW3
— Carmelo Anthony (@carmeloanthony) July 5, 2016
This was likely video from the last time the two suited up for Team USA during the London Olympics in 2012 since James isn't on the team this year. However, with the Dwyane Wade and Miami Heat looking like they'll break up and the talk of Wade reuniting with James in Cleveland, this tweet becomes pretty relevant.

The reactions to it were likely overblown though and people definitely started losing their minds.

@Tyler_A_Evans @carmeloanthony @KingJames WHAT IS GOING ON

@carmeloanthony @KingJames @B_Lowe5 I don't even know what's going on anymore
— Carson Hagood (@chagood54) July 5, 2016
@carmeloanthony @KingJames don't tell me you going to the cavs now
— Esa (@AbduljamiEsa) July 5, 2016
So to sum it up, no one knows what's going on and Carmelo Anthony is a pretty cryptic tweeter. Hopefully he can give us some more goodies so more people can lose their minds and make up ridiculous trades that land James and Melo on the same team. Even though we all know there isn't enough cap space or enough basketballs to go around should those two team up.
