Tracy Porter, the one-time Super Bowl champion who helped the New Orleans Saints win Super Bowl XLIV with the game-clinching pick-6 off of Peyton Manning, has been arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on domestic batter and drug possession charges, per ESPN.
Porter reportedly had a verbal altercation with his girlfriend on October 5 that quickly turned physical. The woman alleges that Porter grabbed her arms, pushed her back against the vehicle and grabbed her around the neck and face area.
Police found marijuana, acetaminophen and a firearm after inspecting bruises on the girlfriend. He was reportedly charged with battery, possession of marijuana and intent to distribute a schedule 2 drug, according to the report.
Porter played four seasons for the Saints before bouncing around one-year stints with the Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins and finally two seasons with the Chicago Bears.
He was a second-round pick by the Saints in the 2008 NFL Draft.
