Caylin Newton, who has electrified the internet in the past with some of his highlight tapes, will be looking to be playing college football this upcoming season.
On Thursday, Caylin — the younger brother to former Heisman winner and NFL MVP Cam Newton — announced that he would be attending Howard University, with the caveat that he would be enrolling early.

Newton (5-foot-11, 185 pounds, Atlanta, Ga.) is rated as a three-star recruit by the 247Sports Composite. Despite some interest from Auburn, the younger Newton was only offered by a few FCS programs. However, Newton will likely get a chance to play immediate at Howard, potentially even at quarterback, which he has played for his high school.
