Spurning the powerhouses for a smaller school is one thing, but picking a school outside of your Top 3 that you posted just two days ago? That's another whole level in terms of a shocking decision.
That is exactly what four-star wide receiver/athlete Jermaine Eskridge (6-foot-3, 185 pounds, Tampa, FL) did on Thursday, as the blue-chip recruit reportedly committed to South Florida, spurning Ohio State, Miami, and Alabama.

Eskridge appeared to confirm the report by retweeting news of his commitment. The decision comes after Eskridge was taking a visit to the school on Thursday, and apparently it was impressive enough for him to commit on the spot.

South Florida wasn't even in Eskridge's Top 10 from earlier this month. This truly appears to be a recruiting shocker.
Eskridge is a member of the 2018 recruiting class. He is the second four-star to commit to the Bulls in as many days, as South Florida also picked up four-star athlete Bruce Judson announced his commitment on Wednesday. In total, South Florida has picked up four recruits in the past 48 hours.
