Looks like Cam Newton's signature first down celebration is rubbing officials the wrong way this season.
We must have seen Newton signal first down at least a dozen times last season and never get flagged for it. Oddly enough, he did today against the Falcons after moving the chains, tossing the ball to an Atlanta player and extending his arm with that cocky flair.

The 15-yard taunting penalty he got hit with probably had more to do with the ball toss, though. Let's hope so. Newton might be the most difficult player in the league to keep a leash on. And he wouldn't be as fun to watch without all that arrogance.
