We are less than a week away from the annual Auburn-Alabama game, and the common highlight that comes up from the rivalry is the Kick Six that happened in the 2013. However, one of the more underrated and heartwarming moments from Iron Bowl history is from 2010, where tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen scored what became the game-winning touchdown.
The touchdown capped a 24-point comeback by the Tigers, allowing No. 2 Auburn to escape unscathed from Tuscaloosa. Auburn went on to win the BCS National Championship that year. The moment has become even more cemented in Auburn history after Lutzenkirchen's tragic passing in 2014.
Rest in peace, Philip.
