SFA's coach might miss Thomas Walkup more than we will

There are coaches out there who talk about loving their players and then there are guys who really mean it. Stephen F. Austin's Brad Underwood falls into the latter category. When asked about what everyone's favorite Lumberjack, Thomas Walkup, meant to him, he broke down.

The Lumberjacks had their season ended by Notre Dame on a last second tip-in, but got a huge win over 3-seed West Virginia on Friday. Walkup was everyone's favorite playing after scoring 33 points against the Mountaineers and looked the part of a lumberjack with his beard and haircut. He also seems to be a great kid according to the coach and that definitely counts for something.
