Scott Frost's move to Nebraska is coming whether folks at UCF like it or not and, even on the heels of the Knights hiring Josh Heupel to replace him, there remains some uncertainty as to whether Frost will finish the season by coaching the Peach Bowl against Auburn. At the College Football Awards Show in Atlanta, Frost made sure to note that his focus of the evening was on the undefeated UCF squad and, in the past, he has expressed his desire to lead the Knights one final time.

However, Frost visited with the Golic and Wingo show on ESPN Radio on Friday and, while he did not back down on his personal feelings, he did express some hesitance with regard to "both sides" getting on board.

"We want to do it. We just gotta make sure both sides are OK with, it and we can work it out. It's touchy and there's no good way to break up. ...There are a lot of things to work out. But our heart is with those kids, and those kids deserve the best chance they can to play well against Auburn. And I think that's with us going back to coach them."

Frost made sure to note that a decision would come soon, if only because the leader for that particular game would need to be in place for the purpose of preparation. It has to be noted that this would not be as big of a discussion if not for UCF's current status as an undefeated team, but that is the world that Scott Frost lives in and the heat will be on until a final decision is announced.
