Five-star shooting guard Romeo Langford is down to three schools in Kansas, Vanderbilt and Indiana. As it turns out, he will be taking an unofficial visit to Vanderbilt this weekend, according to 247Sports. The Commodores and coach Bryce Drew have been in constant contact with Langford this season.
Drew already managed to nab two other five-star recruits in forward Simi Shittu and point guard Darius Garland who became Vanderbilt's highest rated recruit ever. Of course, if Vanderbilt lands Langford, he would become the highest rated recruit for the school as he's the No. 5 overall recruit in the class of 2018.
Vanderbilt is playing Florida over the weekend and even if doesn't result in a win, it could mean a big win on the recruiting trail for the Commodores. The 6-foot-6, 195-pound Langford is not only the No. 5 overall recruit in the class, but the top ranked shooting guard as well according to ESPN.
