In his distraction-filled first season with the Dallas Cowboys, Greg Hardy's year ended with six sacks and 23 tackles and disappointment.
The team missed the playoffs, and troubles plagued Hardy in the locker room, saying the wrong things in the media and reportedly missing meetings.
It was the latter that reportedly led to teammates souring on Hardy's presence, per SportsDay.
"Hardy became such a worry over the last month of the season that the club increased its involvement, providing a more active support staff to check in on him, a source said.
A few teammates who had supported Hardy early began to sour on him late in the season, in part because his perpetual tardiness for team meetings never resulted in a reduction of playing time. Tardiness was also an issue for Hardy with his previous teams."
After making $8.8 million in 2015-16, Hardy will hit ht open market with plenty of question marks, most notably whether he'll be back in Dallas. The Cowboys can't hit him with the franchise tag, so it will either be pay Hardy or let him walk this summer.
