It looks like one of the top recruits of the 2018 class is getting closer and closer to a decision.
In an interview with Rivals, four-star defensive end Marcellus Earlington (6-foot-5, 250 pounds, Ramsey, NJ) named six teams that make the cut for him right now: Penn State, Michigan State, Georgia, Rutgers, North Carolina, and Duke.
Earlington also clarified that Georgia, Penn State, and Duke teams that standout above the rest.
Earlington is rated as a four-star by Rivals, and his stature is possibly his most impressive attribute so far. At 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds, there definitely isn't an immediate need to for Earlington to acclimate to the weight room once he gets to the next level.
247Sports currently lists Penn State with the best odds to land Earlington.
