Dallas Cowboys franchise quarterback Tony Romo finally called it a career this offseason after months of speculation as to what he was going to post-Cowboys. Well, now we know as it was announced that Romo would be joining CBS to join the No. 1 announce team with Jim Nantz.
Romo's retirement shocked some, but NFL coaching legend Bill Parcells didn't dance around his thoughts on Romo retiring: He liked the move.

"I was glad he retired," Parcells told Gary Myers of the New York Daily News. "Enough is enough. You got to know, this is hazardous to your health."
Parcells makes good point, as Romo lost his starting job to Dak Prescott after another brutal back injury. The injuries to Romo were certainly starting to pile up before Romo announced his retirement.
Parcells was the head coach at the time in Dallas when Romo came to town in 2003, so he knows Romo well, so for him to be happy to see the longtime Cowboy step away from the game this offseason means a lot.
