For Texas A&M defensive lineman Ondario Robinson, the goal is to play a role for the Aggies during the 2019 college football season. The 6-foot-3, 270-pounder has been waiting patiently for his turn in College Station, but it almost never happened.
On Tuesday morning, the Hutto, Texas native was driving back home at 7 a.m. when an 18-wheeler pulled out in front of Robinson on the highway. Luckily, the redshirt sophomore knew what to do. Robinson slammed on the breaks of his silver Volkswagon sedan, locked his tires, and braced himself for impact.
From the looks of the car crash, Robinson's car slid under the bed of the semi-truck. The rest of the damage, primarily the windshield, could not be seen, but it's very scary, and the defensive lineman luckily walked away from the wreck to send out a tweet.

The Texas A&M football player has to be shaken up. It would be impossible to have a near-death experience and not be a little frightened by the moment.

A standout at Hutto High School, the consensus three-star prospect by Scout, Rivals, ESPN and 247Sports redshirted his freshman year in 2017 and did not see any action in 2018. And although he did not post any stats in Texas A&M's spring game, he still is working to earn playing time in the SEC for head coach Jimbo Fisher.
And after a scary car accident like that, you better believe he will never want to take football for granted.
