In case you needed more evidence that Ohio State has had an extremely talented team over the past few seasons...
One user over in the college football subreddit pointed out something interesting about this year's Ohio State team: they could set the record for most players taken in one NFL Draftraft.
As the Reddit post points out, Ohio State has 21 draft-eligible players as of right now. While it is extremely unlikely that all 21 are drafted, you have several players — Joey Bosa, Cardale Jones, Ezekiel Elliott, Darron Lee, Braxton Miller, Michael Thomas, etc. — that are pretty much locks to get drafted at this point. It is very likely that the Buckeyes have over 10 players that are taken in this year's NFL Draft, which is simply an absurd amount of NFL talent for one team to possess.
For those wondering, the record for most players taken from one school in an NFL Draft is 14, set by Ohio State in 2004. That year, the Buckeyes had three players taken in the first round. As of now, ESPN's Todd McShay predicts that four Ohio State players will go in the first round.
The only bad news for Ohio State fans is that the next class of recruits and backups will have to step up big time. Of course, head coach Urban Meyer has position the Buckeyes near the top of the recruiting rankings over the past few years, so that may not be too hard to replace the mass exodus of talent.
