Tarburton is ranked as a four-star recruit by Rivals, and as a high three-star by 247Sports. According to his Twitter, he received his Penn State offer two weeks ago, and it didn't take long for him to capitalize on that opportunity.

Penn State's 2018 recruiting class has already blossomed up to 11 commitments, two of which are five-star recruits Micah Parsons and Ricky Slade. James Franklin has really done a good job at rebuilding Penn State through recruiting, and they could become something special considering that they are building off of an 11-win campaign in 2016.
