
NFL draft prospect Travis Rudolph and his family are in mourning following the tragic, accidental shooting death of his father.
Darryl Rudolph, 55, a repairman, was working in the storage room of a business when another employee in an adjacent room was moving a firearm, and it discharged, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's office. The bullet struck Rudolph in the back/neck area, and he died at a local hospital.
Travis Rudolph, a former Florida State wide receiver, is project as a third-day pick in this week's NFL draft. While at FSU, he caught 153 receptions for 2,311 yards receiving with 18 career touchdowns.
