As we reported earlier, arguably the best player in Florida State history has decided to turn pro. Personally, I think Jameis Winston made the correct decision because he has a tremendous chance to be the top pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
After having the opportunity to see Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston in person at the Rose Bowl, I felt that Winston impressed me more as an NFL talent than Mariota did. He has the arm strength, a high football IQ and is a more pro-ready QB than Mariota. Winston makes throws that other quarterbacks can't. If Tampa, who has the No. 1 pick in the 2015 NFL draft, doesn't acquire a QB in free agency, I think Winston is the choice the Buccaneers need to make.
