NBA 2k15 unveils Isaiah Austin, athlete diagnosed with Marfan syndrome, as playable character

Baylor's 7'1" center Isaiah Austin was forced to retire from basketball a week before the NBA draft, where he was projected to be a lottery pick, due to Marfan syndrome, a disease that caused concerns about the strain of his heart while training and competing.

NBA 2k15 announced earlier this week that Austin was added to the free agency pool as a playable character.

As you can see in the video above, Austin was also selected by the NBA in the draft and offered a job upon graduation.
