Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock is playing the best football of his college career and, at least for now, everything is positive in Ann Arbor. Rudock garnered national recognition after a record-breaking, six-touchdown performance against Indiana, and in the aftermath of the win, word broke that his backups have assigned a very interesting moniker to the fifth year-senior.

Nick Baumgardner of MLive.com caught up with Michigan center Graham Glasgow for the details:

"The other quarterbacks, I think, call him 'dad'. He doesn't engage in the little jokes and stuff that the younger guys (have). He's all business and that's what I really like about him. ... The (other) QBs are kind of like 'Mean Girls.' They talk about girls and stuff, they gossip."

"And Jake's just kind of like (not having it). He doesn't want to be bothered with that, you know? ... He's just all business all the time. And that's what I like."

Rudock has been around the block a few times and, for the most part, Michigan's backups are freshmen and sophomores. Still, there isn't that big of an age gap, making the "dad" description a hilarious one by all accounts.

Jim Harbaugh has been pleased with Rudock's production throughout the season, and if he continues to play this well, no one will care what his teammates call their starting quarterback.
