"Great people to be around," Byrd told Scout.com about his decision to commit to the Gators. "I feel like I'm at home when I'm there."
Byrd is the second tight end for Florida's 2017 class — the country's No. 10 ranked tight end Kemore Gable (6-foot-4, 216 pounds, Miami, Fla.) announced in April that he would be verbally committing to Florida.
