Mark Sanchez' career hadn't quite reached its lowest point until Monday morning, when the Denver Broncos announced second-year quarterback Trevor Siemian, who had never thrown an NFL pass, was the team's starting quarterback.
Not that it's any surprise, but it is now official. Broncos announced Trevor Siemian is their starting QB.

Once the Broncos cut Sanchez (could happen tomorrow), they'll scour the wire to bring in another QB.

Sanchez was disastrous in New York, as the buttfumble became what his career was known for. His short stint in Philadelphia ended with heroics (and a philly with fans) before he ultimately gave the job to Sam Bradford. And now we're here, where the quarterback is facing likely being cut.
It's a world where someone like Charlie Whitehurst might be a better (and cheaper) for Denver than Sanchez.
Surely another team will add him as depth and a serviceable backup, but he almost certainly won't remain a Bronco.
When Denver cuts him, they'll save $4.5 million and they won't have to send a seventh-round pick to Philadelphia.
