As part of WWE NXT's annual tour at Download Festival in Donington Park, Derby, UK star Mark Andrews suffered a pretty horrifying neck injury while competing in an eight-man tag match against Pete Dunne, Bobby Roode and the Authors of Pain.

While teaming with Roderick Strong, Drew McIntyre and Aleister Black, Andrews took a nasty clothesline and landed directly on his neck:

The bump resulted in Andrews being stretchered out of the arena and taken to an ambulance, apparently as a precaution.

WWE released a statement following the injury:

"A CT scan of Andrews came back negative, with just bruising evident. Mark would like to thank all his fans for their concern."

Hopefully Andrews makes a full recovery.

We'll continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
