One of the most tantalizing tight ends in the class of 2018, four-star TE Luke Ford, has a new leader after decommitting from Arkansas: The Alabama Crimson Tide.
Ford revealed the news to Scout Sunday morning:
"I went to Alabama, then Auburn, then LSU and Georgia before all that," he said. "Georgia was amazing. It was a great trip. Alabama was really, really good. I'd say they're probably my leader. Auburn was amazing and LSU was good too."
Losing Ford was a huge blow for Arkansas, as the Hogs could use all the help they can get in finding their footing in the SEC West.
Alabama makes sense for Ford, as the Crimson Tide just lost superstar TE O.J. Howard to the NFL, which has to intrigue Ford. Like Alabama, though, Georgia, too, excels at utilizing their tight ends and letting them work on the outside like Ford can do.

Still, it doesn't look appear a commitment is coming soon, as Ford intends to go on several more visits and is getting heavily recruited by several power programs.
Ford is the No. 4 TE in the class of 2018, per 247sports.
