RELATED: LSU reportedly 'nearing agreement' with offensive coordinator
After Lane Kiffin took the head coaching job at FAU, LSU had reportedly narrowed down its list to three candidates in Canada, Alabama's Steve Sarkisian and former Oregon coach mark Helfrich. LSU obviously went with Canada who was the main reason Pittsburgh was scoring 42.3 points a game and averaging 447.5 total yards per game.
Canada should help LSU make better use of its quarterbacks and help the offense become much more than just Derrius Guice running the ball down people's throats. The only question remaining will be who the new QB will be for Canada to have some fun with.
