Unless you are a die-hard football fan, or know someone on the team, chances are you didn't watch much of game between the St. Francis Red Flash and Lehigh Mountain Hawks last season. It proved to be an FCS thriller and provided one of the most vicious hits we will probably see in an NCAA college football game.
Near the end of the first quarter, St. Francis punter Ryan Oliver went back to boot it away. Unfortunately for him, he bobbled the snap twice and paid a painful price. Basically, he got flattened like a pancake by Lehigh defensive lineman Davis Maxie.
And to add insult to injury, the brutal hit forced a fumble and Mountain Hawks defensive back Sam McCloskey scooped it up and took it to the house for a touchdown.

Despite the early 10-0 lead, and 13-0 advantage at halftime, the Mountain Hawks lost. The Red Flash scored two touchdowns and the defense allowed no points to win 14-13 at Goodman Stadium in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Saint Francis quarterback Jason Brown led the comeback with 293 passing yards and touchdown passes to EJ Jenkins and Terell Johnson. The Red Flash, who play in the Northeast Conference, also got solid field position in their first game thanks to their special teams, especially Nick Rinella's 110 kickoff return yards.
Lehigh quarterback Tyler Monaco threw for 270 yards with an interception in the season opener for the Patriot League team.
No matter what happened with these two teams during the rest of the season, nobody is going to forget the time a Lehigh football player Davis Maxie punished Saint Francis punter Ryan Oliver and knocked him into next week, maybe even next year.
Watching this on repeat will make you cringe.
