ESPN has been making headlines for the past week due to massive layoffs that have cost dozens of employees their job, but it looks like that isn't the only part of the story as ESPN looks to restructure.
According to a report from Sports Business Daily, several ESPN employees were asked to take massive pay cuts in the lead up to this past week's layoffs. The report specifically cited an anonymous employee of whom ESPN was asked to take a 60-percent paycut.

Sports Business Daily says that some talents took a paycut, but that others did not and were let go by the network. However, per several reports, those that were let go will still have their contracts honored.
ESPN is facing several controversies for their layoffs, including Ed Werder being asked to cover the NFL Draft despite already being told he had been laid off. Even worse, it doesn't look like the cuts are over and plenty more controversies could be coming.
