Legendary wrestler and Olympic gold medalist to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame

Kurt Angle is one of the greatest wrestlers to ever end up in the ring as he was a gold medalist in the Atlanta Olympic Games and has won 21 total championships during his days in the WWF/WWE, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling with 13 of those being world championships. Angle is the only professional wrestler in history to have won the WWE, World heavyweight, WCW, TNA, and IWGP world championships. He is also a two-time King of the Mountain and a one-time King of the Ring, making him the only person to have been both King of the Ring (WWF) and King of the Mountain (TNA).

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter also named him the Wrestler of the Decade for the 2000s and he was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2013. Angle's first appearance on WWF television in March of 1999 and made his in-ring debut in November of that year. He always embodied a patriotic theme during his matches and would often appear with an American flag and wore replicas of his gold medals from the Olympics quite often.
