Kirk Herbstreit is taking quite the shot with who he would put in the Top 4 for the College Football Playoff.
On championship weekend, we saw Washington, Clemson, and Penn State all stand their ground by winning their conferences. At the same time, Ohio State stood pat with their 11-1 record and no conference title. With that Herbstreit laid out his Top 5 as follows: No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Clemson, and No. 4 Penn State.

Yep, Herbstreit has Penn State in over 12-1 and Pac-12 champ Washington.
Seriously, if a one-loss Pac-12 champ gets left out in favor of two Big Ten teams, there are definitely going to be some strained relations in college football. This is especially after the Pac-12 watched Michigan State lay an egg in last year's Playoff, while Stanford simultaneously destroyed Iowa in the Rose Bowl.
Get ready for some angry folks around noon on Sunday.
