PGA Tour star had one thing on his mind after great round at Tour Championship

Kevin Kisner arrived at the Tour Championship 18th in the FedEx Cup standings. He had enjoyed a successful season to this point but, with the end of the Tour season coinciding with football season, Kisner had more interests in play other than playing well.

Kevin Kisner arrived at the Tour Championship 18th in the FedEx Cup standings. He had enjoyed a successful season to this point but, with the end of the Tour season coinciding with football season, Kisner had more interests in play other than playing well.

You see, Kisner is a die hard Georgia Bulldogs fan. With his favorite team hosting Mississippi State nearby, Kisner was eager to find a way to both complete his round and catch some of the game in person. Given that there wasn't going to be much time in between his round finishing and kickoff, Kisner sought an unusual source of transportation.

I need a helicopter to take me to Athens tomorrow after the round to make the game. Who has one in ATL?

Normally if you or I were to request a helicopter, we would get laughed off the internet. But, when you're a successful golfer with some money, you can make some things happen.

We coming!

With plans squared away thanks to some help from buddy Justin Thomas, it would have been easy for Kisner to have struggled through his third round. Quite the opposite happened, as Kisner fired a remarkable six-under 64 and in a tie for second. He was briefly tied for the lead on moving day, but eventually Paul Casey separated himself as the leaders went through their various highs and lows. After the round, Kisner made quick work of his post-round duties and was quickly on a chopper that picked him up at a nearby course.

Have a day, @K_Kisner.

The things you do for your team.... @K_Kisner wouldn't miss his Dawgs for the world. pic.twitter.com/XgnDztc1R6

Kisner probably enjoyed himself, as Georgia comfortably defeated Mississippi State 31-3. With the success of today's round and the quick and helpful work of Twitter and a handful of local folks, I think it's safe to say Kisner is going to remember this day for a quite a while.
