Karl-Anthony Towns probably has a lot of friends, but there's really one he listens to as we found out in an interview he did with USA Today. His little buddy Karlito is the one who holds his attention the most and also critiques him the most.
When asked about Karlito, coach John Calipari had this to say in response: "He's such a great kid, he doesn't want to talk back to you, so he turns his head to the side and talks to that little man on his shoulder," Calipari said. "And after he started doing it, I said, 'Who are you talking to?' And I can't remember which of the coaches gave it the nickname: 'He's talking to Karlito.' "
You might think that sounds a bit silly, but try to tell that to Towns' 10 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game, 2.4 blocks per game, and 56 percent shooting for the season that he will definitely credit to Karlito.
