Florida State has had a very disappointing year this season, as the Seminoles have fallen to 3-6 after starting quarterback Deondre Francois was lost for the year back in September.

With that, conversation has started to grow on where head coach Jimbo Fisher will be in 2018, as some wonder if a school like Texas A&M will be able to pry Fisher away from the Seminoles. FSU insider Bud Elliott of Tomahawk Nation confirms that A&M has interest in Fisher, but Elliott says that he would "put money on" Fisher still being with the Noles in 2018.

If I had to put money on it as of this morning, I'd say FSU. I know for a fact Texas A&M wants him, but I'm not confident Fisher wants out. Takes two to tango. https://t.co/UOVOuohWrP

For what it's worth, that might be a smart bet. Fisher reportedly had similar offerings from LSU last season, but Fisher did end up staying with the Seminoles despite a reported offer of nearly $7 million annually. Texas A&M could offer a similar amount, or even more than that, but the point is that it is clearly going to take a lot more than just money to get Fisher to jump ship.

Fisher is 81-23 in his career as the Florida State head coach. The Noles have won one BCS national title (2013) under Fisher, and have once participated in the College Football Playoff (2014). The 3-6 record in 2017 represents the first time that Florida State has lost more than four games in one season with Fisher as the head coach.
