Minnesota is not what one would call one of the premier coaching jobs in the Big Ten, let alone the country. However, coach Jerry Kill made it a lot better than it was before he got there. He took the Gophers to three straight bowl games in 2012, 2013 and 2014. That was a whole lot better than what anyone did before him, but he had to retire in the middle of the 2015 season because of health reasons.

However, Kill seems to be feeling better as he has officially taken one of the roughest jobs in sports and the Big Ten.

Rutgers has only ever been to 10 bowl games in its 145-year history so Kill doesn't have too high a bar to hurdle. He won't have to worry about the rigors of handling a whole team, which should be good for his health and will make it easier for him to coach this team under the radar.
