Usually the people who end up on Jeopardy! are not exactly sports nuts —- although there is a sports version of the show hosted by Dan Patrick —- but they should probably know the difference between NBA legend Magic Johnson and NHL legend Wayne Gretzky. This poor fellow on the show did not and it did not end well for him:

This isn't the first time a Jeopardy! contestant has made a horrific screw up as there was one a while back who got Auburn and Alabama confused. That did not end well for him either and he took a jab from Alex Trebek too. This particular got a classic Trebek one-liner when he said "We're talking about NHL, not NBA."
