Nahziah Carter has been one of the fastest rising recruits in the country, not only because of his relation to rapping legend Jay-Z but because he has been playing at a high level. He originally committed to Dayton, but when Archie Miller left for Indiana, he opened up his recruiting again. After taking a visit to a Pac-12 school last weekend, he decided to pull the trigger on his commitment to them:

Aside from being related to Jay-Z, Carter's claim to fame comes from absolutely posterizing the top recruit in the class in Marvin Bagley:
The 6'4", 180-pound shooting guard is rated as a four-star recruit by Scout out of Rochester, New York. The 2017 recruit also had offers from UConn, Georgetown, N.C. State, Penn State and Providence among others.
