It would have been enough for J.K. Rowling to gallop off into the sunset with her enormous Harry Potter success.   It would be tough to blame her for doing so.  The writer now has a net worth of over $1 billion and there is nothing left for her to accomplish in the writing world.  But Rowling didn’t do that.  She’s still as passionate as ever and has used her influence to impart wisdom on her fans and express her views in ways should could have never done before.

You won’t find someone with a bigger following be as engaged with her fans as Rowling and you won’t found someone who is as outspoken as her either.  As many of you probably know, Rowling isn’t the biggest fan of the Trump administration or the Trump family as a whole.  So when Oliver Willis tweeted to Rowling about “Slytherin Alumni” Rowling didn’t hesitate to put up a response.

Rowling literally responded within 10 minutes.

You've got to get the letter before you put on the hat, Oliver. https://t.co/KFvRtrwdpy

For anyone not super familiar with the delightful world of Hogwarts, Rowling is basically saying that Kushner, Eric and Donald Jr. wouldn’t even make it into the wizarding school in the first place.  You have to love J.K. Rowling.  This woman pulls zero punches.
