While I’ll be the first to tell you that I’m not a big fan of Valentine’s day, it doesn’t mean that I don’t get sentimental at some of the things people do for the holiday. I for one find it to be waste of time and money to pick a day out of the year to profess my love to my wife. I show her each and every day that I love her so why the added pressure to prove it even more? But like I said, don’t let me stop you from going over the top on February 14th.
One of the best displays of romance I’ve ever seen goes back to 2013. A man by the name of Steven decided to propose to the love of his life Annie. The two, however, had something special in common. Both are lovers of Doctor Who. So instead of your conventional wedding proposal, Steven set up a Tardis Photobooth, brought Annie inside, and gave her the surprise of a lifetime.
Now, these are acts of love I can get behind and if Valentine’s day were filled with these types of situations? I think I’d be way more on board with the holiday than I am now.
