We saw the two sides of sportsmanship on this play.

At first, we saw a defender hustle to tackle Blue Springs High School running back Jaylen Ivey, saving his team from giving up a touchdown as Blue Springs tried to extend their lead. Great hustle like that should be respected.

Instead, Ivey pushed the defender back down after the tackle, and then Ivey gave him a kick to the ribs for good measure.

Ivey was ejected, and it is likely that he could face further discipline. Blue Springs went on to win the game, but this is definitely not how they wanted to gain national attention.
