The year was 1967, and the Florida State Seminoles were hungry for a win.
They had a mouth-watering opportunity in front of them.
FSU had chance to beat in-state rival Florida at The Swamp for the first time and extend a six-game winning streak.
Wide receiver Ron Sellers was going to do everything he could to separate himself from Gator defenders, and quarterback Kim Hammond was going to find him.

The Seminoles started the year 0-2-1 with losses against Houston and North Carolina State. The tie was against Alabama.
That was all Florida State football head coach Bill Peterson's team needed to start winning, and winning, and winning, and winning, and winning, and winning.
In the regular season finale, the Seminoles traveled to Gainesville.
Florida jumped out to a 3-0 lead before FSU bounced back to take a 14-3 lead into halftime.
Hammond left the first half with an injury, giving Florida a chance to pull within five. He rubbed some dirt on it and returned in the second half.
He didn't miss a beat. The Seminole signal caller instantly fired a 51-yarder to Sellers to advance to Florida's 47-yard line. Running back Larry Green carried the 'Noles further into Florida territory with a three-yard rush.
Hammond looked for the All-American target again. He loaded up, and heaved the ball towards his No. 1 receiver.
Sellers caught it in the end zone in what would be the game-sealing score. The FSU wideout finished the day with seven receptions for 153 yards in the 21-16 win. FSU would go on to tie Penn State in the Gator Bowl Game in Jacksonville to finish the season 7-2-2.
Watching tape of Sellers makes it seem like no corner in college football could cover this guy. I would draft him to my fantasy team right now if I had the chance.
The win was the first time the 'Noles stormed into the Swamp and defeated the Gators. It was a huge boost for the program, and penned a new chapter in the Sunshine Showdown.
