After decommitting from Florida State, it appears that five-star running back James Cook (6-foot-0, 181 pounds, Miami, Fla.) has two teams emerging in his recruitment.
According to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, Georgia has emerged as the heavy favorite to gain Cook's commitment. That's not all though, as Wiltfong also mentions that Louisville has "made up a lot of ground" in Cook's recruitment.
Cook, the younger brother of former Florida State superstar Dalvin Cook, decommitted from the Seminoles on July 4 after being committed for a year. It doesn't appear that Florida State is completely out of his recruitment, but they have clearly fallen behind.
Cook is rated as a five-star by Rivals.com. Both Rivals and 247Sports have him as the No. 3 running back in the country.
