
Halfway through the regular season, only nine Power 5 teams are undefeated. According to Fox Sports, one of them is flying under the radar and could be a potential College Football Playoff team.

West Virginia is 5-0 on the year, and they dominated Texas Tech on the road 48-17. They outgained the Red Raiders by nearly 300 yards. Unlike many of Dana Holgorsen's teams in the past, this Mountaineers team has a solid defense accompanying its potent offense.

The Mountaineers still have the toughest part of their schedule upcoming. They have a pair of road games at Oklahoma State and Texas in addition to home games versus TCU, Oklahoma and Baylor, who is also undefeated. FOX Sports believes that the Mountaineers can win not only the Big 12, but a national title.
