RELATED: Four-star Kevin Jarvis commits to Michigan State
For some recruits, family has a stronger influence over anything a coach can say or promise. this is particularly evident for four-star wide receiver Hunter Rison (5-foot-11, 183 pounds, Ann Arbor, Mi.), who committed to Michigan State on Friday.

Hunter is the son of former Michigan State and NFL receiver Andre Rison, so it makes some sense that the younger Rison would commit to that school. He was also considering Ohio State, Alabama, UCLA, and Arizona State, but eventually the Spartans prevailed, as they add another recruit to their growing 2017 class.
