The news of Art Briles's firing is still reverberating through the college football world, as the allegations against the coach finally reached a breaking point with the school's board of regents.
It may only be a few hours since the firing, but the move is already impacting the Bears on the recruiting trail. Just a couple of hours after the announcement, four-star tight end Kedrick James (6-foot-5, 245 pounds, Waco, TX) announced his intention to reopen his commitment.
Due to the departure of Coach Briles, I'd like to open my recruiting and decommit from Baylor. Thank u Baylor staff esp Coach Lebby & Bedell

According to 247Sports, Texas A&M is a potential destination for the now free agent recruit. James's tweet has a shout out to Baylor's assistants, so there is some potential that the tight end could go back to the Bears.
For now, though, James is the first of what could be several recruits to re-think their decision about going to Baylor. Baylor now only has five recruits for their 2017 class.
